Kingdream - K series bits
K series bits features:
- non-sealed roller bearing bits, cooled and cleaned by air.
- carbide compacts give increased impact strength and wear resistance with reduced compact breakage.
- maximised cutting ability from optimised number of compact rows, total number of compacts, compact exposure and shapes
- Increased bearing capacity and service life from heat-treated bearing surface
- thrust bearing increases the overall bearing capacity and improves air circulation inside the bearing cavity, reducing the temperature in the cavity
- air-water separator prevents water or formation cuttings from entering the bearing cavity through waterway or nozzles while supplying cooling air to the bearing.
- strategically placed nozzles are advantageous to thoroughly clean the bottom hole, and the nozzle diameter can be selected according to specific air pressure and displacement.
- optimum designed head shape provides maximum space for removing the cuttings off the bottom hole and increases the penetration rate. Head OD is well protected by additional carbide compacts and special hard facing.
- can be combined into KT series bit by using trimmer technology.
